I am a highly experienced Senior Creative Artworker, having worked for over 34 years in the Graphic Design industry, both permanent and freelance, with expert knowledge of packaging and print processes. Over the last 12 years I have also gained knowledge and experience building WordPress websites, mainly with entirely bespoke, self-coded themes and solutions with particular emphasis on SEO, responsiveness and the client’s ability to maintain their own sites and post updates.

Working both freelance and full-time has developed an appreciation for the need for good team relationships, and the ability to slot in to a new working environment quickly, maintaining a friendly and professional balance.

I bring a thorough, technical attention to detail to every job and pride myself on my ability to pick up new skills quickly.

  • I sing with Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus and am a Management Team member with responsibility for the charity’s IT infrastructure, including building and maintaining the 3 websites: www.brightongmc.org, tickets.brightongmc.org and the “Members’ Lounge” (a private BuddyPress site utilising WooCommerce Subscriptions for membership subs payments). Until recently I was a Trustee for over 10 years.
  • I have an extensive knowledge of MacOS systems and troubleshooting and all major design software.
  • I have a full, clean driving licence.
